Welcome to our Kitchen! Our 1500 sq/ft Commercial Kitchen prepares soups, salads, meals, entrees, and more for you to take home. Using fresh harvested vegetables right from our farm, as well as local meats, cheese, dairy, and ingredients sourced as local as possible we bring a whole new level to the "Farm-to-Table" movement! When you want a fresh cooked healthy, local meal but don't want to cook yourself, let us do the cooking!
Chef Paul Tawczynski is a master at utilizing the ever changing seasonal bounty from The Berkshires! Starting in the Spring when the first spears of asparagus start to poke out of the ground, all the way into the winter when the butternut, beets and carrots are at peak flavor out of storage, you can be certain of getting the highest quality meal and always at a reasonable price. We cut out ALL the middlemen, we are the grower, harvester, preparer, chef, and retail store.
Whether it is a vegan or vegetarian dish made from the fresh vegetables grown on our farm, or one of our Local sustainable offerings using Local Meats, Local Cheeses, or locally caught fish, we are sure to have what your are craving!
Try a dish like Chef Paul's WICKED TUNA SALAD! We talk directly to the Cape Cod Fishing Fleet and buy our FRESH, LINE CAUGHT, tuna from AMERICAN BOATS in AMERICAN WATERS. These whole tuna get delivered to us right from the Captain and prepared usually on the SAME DAY they get caught! We challenge you to find a fresher Tuna Salad anywhere!
Or if LOBSTER is your weakness, try Taft's Famous LOBSTER SALAD! We have made arrangements with several boats from Gloucester to Chatham to purchase their lobsters during the Massachusetts Lobster Season. Fresh Whole Lobsters get delivered to us at least once a week from various boats and we steam them fresh to make Lobster Salad. Most places use frozen lobster meat...yuck! Our salad is made from nothing but fresh 100% Massachusetts caught Lobsters, supporting our Massachusetts Fishing Fleet, and keeping a consistent quality that you can taste!
