This year's Corn Maze
WHO'S YOUR HERO?
Take a walk through our 5 acre corn maze and find your hero! Is it Superman, Batman, or maybe a princess or fairy! Or maybe you just want to take a ride down memory lane in the Mystery Machine.
At every turn, you will find another fun cut-out to live out your fall fantasy against the back drop of our 200 acre farm. Adults and Children of all ages will enjoy this maze and there is sure to be something for everyone!
This year's Children's Hay Maze
The Grouchy Ladybug!
Walk through the pages of this children's classic and retrace the steps of The Grouchy Ladybug. From Breakfast to Dinner, meet some animals, eat some aphids, and have fun pretending to be a ladybug, stag beetle, lobster, and many more. This maze is sure to put a smile on the face of even the grouchiest little ladybug!
HAY RIDES EVERY WEEKEND
We will be offering hayrides on our farm every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday starting on Friday, September 12th and running through Halloween on Friday October 31st. The hay rides will travel accross almost half of our farm and will make stops at the Corn Maze, Hay Maze, and the 13 ACRE Pick Your Own Pumpkin patch! You can choose to stay on the whole time, or get off at any of the events (with a ticket) and enjoy the various Fall Family Activities we offer.
HAYRIDES LEAVE EVERY HOUR ON THE HOUR STARTING 10:00AM TO 4:00PM
aDDITIONAL RIDES AVAILABLE BY SCHEDULE
The hay rides travel on a schedule, so if you get off to walk the maze or pick a pumpkin, you may need or want to board a different hayride to return to our store.
PICK YOUR OWN PUMPKINS
This year we have planted a 13 acre pick your own pumpkin field! All sizes of pumpkins from the smallest baby sugar pumpkins to the largest of Jack O'lanterns can be found. This is AN ACTUAL PUMPKIN PATCH, not just a grassy field where someone has dropped a bunch of pumpkins for you to choose from. Come see how the pumpkins actually grow, see the plants, the field, the flowers, and everypart of growing a pumpkin! Carts will be available to transport your pumpkins from the field back to the store or to the hayride wagons.
Come See The Animals!
Free to the public every day is our animal area! We have Goats, Chickens, Llamas, Bunnies and More. Don't forget to come see the TURTLES in the greenhouse enclosure!
Gideon's Garden is a 1 acre youth community garden located at Taft Farm. Each year Taft Donates the land and the Grace Church provides operating funds for the Garden. The Garden is 100% run by local youth, with careful instruction and mentoring by key people from Taft Farms. 100% of the food and vegetables produced in the Garden are donated to several local charitable organizations like CHP WIC, Breaking Bread Kitchen, The Guthrie Center free lunch, and so many more!
